Easy skin care with Bec - hands

This is first in a series by Bec Talia, our resident skin-care explorer, sharing a bouquet of easy spa treatments we busy people can indulge in at home!

All made using things in your fridge or your pantry, the great thing is what you need is available, low cost, and low toxic load. Winner!

Simple Hand Scrub -

Ingredients

2 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoons oil – options to use are: olive oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil or apricot kernel oil

Lime zest 1 teaspoon lime juice

 

Method

Combine all ingredients.

Massage into hands for a few minutes, then rinse and dry your hands.

Note: always avoid any ingredients you have a sensitivity to. If you are unsure perform a 24 hour patch test.

 

Cuticle Oil -

To give your cuticles some love, you can massage vegetable oil in to keep them hydrated and soft. Olive oil is a good choice.
