24 Hour Sour Cream Recipe!

This recipe is very similar to our 24 hour yoghurt recipe (find here), however this one doesn’t require any heating! Super simple! The 24 hour fermentation process almost completely removes the lactose and casein, so most people can tolerate this even with a dairy intolerance.
Ingredients

1 litre of pure pouring cream (no additives, preferably organic but just source what you can)

Yoghurt starter (we recommend this one)
Method
Simply mix the two cold ingredients together well and let sit on a bench out of direct sunlight for 24 hours to ferment, then move to the fridge. The sour cream can be stored up to 2 weeks.
